Version 2026-05-04
By installing or using Driver Transport App, you agree to these terms. If you do not, please uninstall. The first time you open the app — and again whenever we materially update these terms or the Privacy Policy — you will be asked to confirm acceptance inside the app.
Subject to your purchase and these terms, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell, sublicence, decompile or attempt to extract the app's source code beyond what UK law permits.
These terms are between you and the developer (not Apple) and replace Apple's Standard EULA for Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app and is not responsible for any product warranties to the extent not effectively disclaimed by these terms. As a third-party beneficiary of these terms, Apple may enforce them against you.
Driver Transport App is a personal job log. It stores jobs, travel legs, costs, photos and notes on the device, lets you scan job sheets, reg plates and VINs with the camera, lets you dictate notes by voice, and lets you export jobs to PDF. On Pro it also offers DVLA, MOT and address lookups, and optional cloud backup (App Cloud or Google Drive) to our server or to your private Google Drive folder. The app does not file claims, submit timesheets, dispatch jobs, or communicate with any third-party fleet system on your behalf.
The app has two tiers:
Apple handles all App Store and subscription refunds. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com or open the receipt email from Apple and tap "Report a Problem". Statutory consumer rights you hold in the UK or EU are not affected.
Vehicle make, MOT and tax data are supplied by the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service. Address suggestions are supplied by AWS Location Service. The on-device scanner reads text from photographs of job sheets, registration plates and VIN tags. All three can be incomplete, delayed or wrong — verify against physical documentation (V5C, MOT certificate, paperwork) before relying on what the app shows.
Cloud backup (to App Cloud or to your Google Drive) is a Pro feature that you switch on yourself. We provide it on a best-effort basis. We try to keep your backup safe and available, but you remain responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The in-app PDF export is the simplest way.
The Restore Code shown in Settings is the only way to recover a server backup on a different device. If you lose it, the backup cannot be recovered — we store only its SHA-256 hash, never the secret itself.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that DVLA, MOT, AWS, RevenueCat, Google Drive, our own server, on-device scanning or speech recognition will be available or accurate at any given moment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the app, in any 12-month period, is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid for the app or Pro subscription in that period, or (b) £50. We are not liable for lost earnings, lost data, missed jobs or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under UK consumer law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
We may suspend or remove access to server-side features (cloud backup to App Cloud, DVLA, MOT and AWS lookups) if we reasonably believe they are being abused, for example through automated scraping or attempts to bypass rate limits. The local app and your local data are unaffected.
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the version date at the top of this page and require you to re-accept the terms inside the app. Continuing to use the app after re-accepting constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, again without prejudice to your right to bring a claim in your local courts as a consumer.
For support or questions about these terms, use the Support contact on the App Store listing or the Support page on this website.
